Steve Buckley 

Steve Buckley has been a community media activist since the early 1980s. He was a co-founder of the Community Media Association (CMA) in 1983 and Director of the CMA from 1991 to 2004. He was responsible at the CMA for strategic planning, political representation, fund–raising and leadership of the organisation through a critical period of policy reform. He has extensive social science research, financial planning, fund-raising, business planning and media policy know-how as well as practical media experience in broadcast and new media. Steve is currently the President of AMARC, the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters and brings an internationalist perspective to community media development. On a local level, Steve is a Board Member and founder of Commedia Sheffield, South Yorkshire's leading community media centre and home of FM and Internet community radio station “Sheffield Live”.

Nicky Edmonds  

Nicky Edmonds has been involved with community media projects for over 20 years. Most recently as Deputy Director of CMA she developed, raised funds for and and oversaw the development of several major projects, including the Commedia Millennium Awards, a grant-making scheme for community media production and the Showcase, a web-based archive of community media programming. She has led on CMA support for community radio pilot scheme and was involved in the CMA’s campaign for community radio licensing. Recently she has managed feasibility studies for community radio projects in Sheffield and  Manchester, an extensive study for the CMA into sustainable models of community broadcasting and research for a community television station in Birmingham.

Zoe Walton

Zoe is a part-time Project & Finance Officer with CM Solutions. She has a background in both the visual and performing arts. Most recently she worked at the Open Performance Centre which offers performance arts training and events to arts professionals and to the community. She has managed three successful national tours for Point Blank Theatre Company and worked on a number of Theatre in Education projects in South Yorkshire. She has also worked as Production Co-ordinator for Disruptive Element Films. Zoe has a degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University.
